How do I add my gymnast?

Search for their name. Tap to add. Done. Get Chalked pulls data from meet score databases. If your gymnast has competed in meets that post results online, they'll show up.

Do I need to create an account?

No account required. Just buy the app and start using it. Your data lives on your device, not our servers. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID or Google Play account.

Where does the score data come from?

Scores are pulled directly from where meets post their results online. Most gymnastics meets post to score databases that Get Chalked can access.

Can I track both boys and girls gymnastics?

Absolutely. Get Chalked supports both Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) and Men's Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) with all their respective events.

Pricing

How much does Get Chalked cost?

$17.99 per year for all core features, plus $9.99 one-time for Gymnastics DNA Insights. Simple, fair pricing with no hidden fees.

Why isn't there a free version?

Free apps come with tradeoffs — ads, data harvesting, artificial limits. We'd rather build something great, charge a fair price, and call it a day. $17.99/year is less than one meet entry fee.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store — not through us. Request via Settings → Apple ID → Purchase History, or at reportaproblem.apple.com

Features

What's the difference between Seasonal and Weekly Leaderboards?

Seasonal Leaderboards show rankings based on a gymnast's most recent 3-meet average. Weekly Leaderboards (a Get Chalked exclusive) show who had the single best score THIS WEEK — perfect for tracking hot streaks.

Can I add scores from meets that aren't in the system?

Yes! Manual Meet Entry lets you add scores from any meet — club intrasquad meets, out-of-state competitions, exhibition events. They appear in your timeline with a special badge.

How do Personal Records (PRs) work?

Get Chalked automatically tracks your gymnast's highest scores on each event. When they beat their PR — even by 0.05 — you'll see a celebration and can share a beautiful PR card.

Does the app work offline?

Yes! Your gymnast's complete history is stored locally on your device. Every meet, every score, every PR — instantly accessible with no loading spinners.

Technical & Privacy

What devices are supported?

iOS: iPhone and iPad running iOS 15 or later. Android: Phones and tablets running Android 8.0 or later.

Is my data private?

Your personal data stays on your device. We don't have user accounts, don't track your identity, and don't sell anything. We use Firebase for anonymous crash reports only.

Can I restore my purchase on a new phone?

Yes. Go to Settings → Restore Purchase in the app. As long as you're signed into the same Apple ID or Google account, your purchase will be restored automatically.
