What is Get Gone?

Get Gone is a PTO optimization app that helps you maximize your time off. It analyzes holidays, weekends, and your personal constraints to show you exactly when to take PTO for the most days away from work.

How does it work?

Enter your country, year, PTO days, and work schedule. Add any constraints like company shutdowns or planned trips. Tap "Optimize" and Get Gone calculates the best times to take off, showing you a "multiplier" for each block of time.

What's a multiplier?

The multiplier shows how efficient a block of time off is. A 3.0x multiplier means you get 3 days off for every 1 PTO day used. Higher is better.

Is Get Gone free?

Yes! You can use Get Gone for free to run optimizations and see your total potential days off. Get Gone Pro ($2.99 one-time) unlocks the full plan with all dates, calendar export, sharing, and yearly rollover.

What countries are supported?

Get Gone supports 100+ countries. We pull official public holiday data for each country.

What work schedules are supported?

Standard (Monday–Friday), 9/80 (every other Friday off), and 4/10 (every Friday off).

What types of constraints can I add?

Company Shutdown, Floating Holiday, Planned Trip, Family Event, School Break, Business Travel, and Can't Take Off (blackout dates).

Can I plan for multiple years?

The app focuses on one year at a time. You can switch years in settings. Pro users get yearly rollover to carry constraints forward.

What does Get Gone Pro include?

Full optimization results with all dates and blocks, export to Apple/Google Calendar (ICS file), share your plan as an image, and yearly rollover for repeating constraints.

Is it a subscription?

No. Get Gone Pro is a one-time purchase of $2.99. Pay once, yours forever.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open the menu and tap "Restore Purchases." Your Pro status will be restored on any device signed into the same Apple ID or Google account.

Data & Privacy

Does Get Gone require an account?

No. There's no sign-up or login required.

Where is my data stored?

All your data (settings, constraints) is stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.

What data does the app collect?

We collect anonymous usage analytics (what features are used, crash reports) to improve the app. We do not collect personal information.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Uninstalling the app removes all local data. You can also clear constraints and settings within the app.
