Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Get Hooked!, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Hooked on Yutz grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the App
• Distribute, transfer, sublicense, lease, lend, or rent the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without prior written consent

3. User Content and Data

All waypoints, catches, GPX files, forecasts, and other data you create ("User Content") remain your property. The App stores this data locally on your device and optionally in your personal cloud account if you enable backup.

You are solely responsible for backing up your User Content. While we provide optional cloud backup functionality, we are not responsible for any loss of data.

4. Subscription Terms

Get Hooked! is a subscription-based application ($29.99/year) with all features included.

• Subscriptions are billed through App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends
• You can cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Fishing forecasts or predictions will be accurate
• River flow data, weather data, or satellite imagery will be current or reliable

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOOKED ON YUTZ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to liability, or $100, whichever is less.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Erie County, Ohio.
